Why Astrology?
Hm, I don't know, that sounds a bit woo-woo.
How can a snapshot of the sky when I was born
have anything to say about my life?
I hear ya. I was skeptical too when I first got into Astrology a few years ago.
But hear me out:
Much about how we live today is mostly about fast-paced go-go-go
and less about our natural cycles of ebb and flow.
It wasn’t always like this.
People used to be more in tune with their own seasons.
They knew to sow creative seeds during their spring
and then rest and enjoy the fruits of their labor during their winter.
Much like nature, human evolution goes through many cycles.
By reading the movements of the planets,
we see both collective and individual cycles.
This can help us understand our own growth process more deeply
and live in alignment with our natural rhythm.
What’s “Vedic”?
Many ancient cultures were highly tuned into those natural cycles and read the stars for guidance.
One of them was ancient India.
“Vedic” relates to the Veda, which is basically all of what we would now call “Hindu” philosophical knowledge in text and spoken form.
Other disciplines were created to help study that philosophy and put it into practice, among them Astrology.
During the Middle Ages, saints and sages wrote the most influential books on the subject, many of which we still use today.

My belief is that consciousness is the source of reality and wants to experience variety. This is where each of us comes in with their unique vantage point that helps the Divine experience life through countless different lenses.
I have my own specific lense colored by my gender, age, nationality, ethnicity, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, social group, and disability.
Although I strive to educate myself on other’s points of view and make my consultations as inclusive as possible, I know I have blind spots and will at some point fall short of that goal. If you had a reading with me and have ideas on how I can be more inclusive, I can’t wait to hear them!

FAQs
How long does each consultation take?
Everyone is different, therefore every consultation will be too. Though most take anywhere between half on hour and an hour and a half.
What zodiac do you use? Am I a Taurus instead of Gemini in Vedic?
I use the “Western“ or tropical zodiac.
If you‘re asking this, you‘re probably used to this already. So don‘t fret, I‘m not trying to make you something you‘re not ;).
Can you see the future?
What about free will?
This question deserves a longer answer but here’s the basic gist:
Astrology deals with probabilities and general trends. Past behavior is the best predictor for future behavior.
However, we do have free will. By gaining self-awareness we can change “predictable” patterns and our trajectory.
This is the best use of Astrology in my opinion.
